Check the simple things first

A couple of quick checks — maybe the cause is on your side after all:

Close the YouTube app or the browser tab and open it again. Then restart your phone or computer.
Check the speed: open another site or a video from a different service. If they barely load too, it is a question for your internet or Wi-Fi.
