Why this is free and needs no account
Half of the messages our support gets start with “is my internet even OK?”. These pages answer that in a minute — and they are just as useful to our customers as to someone who hears about BrodVPN for the first time. So they are open to everyone: no account, no install, no “3 checks left” counters.
No third-party services. The measurements run against our own servers and the connection facts come from our own address — your browser never talks to someone else’s site. The results live on your screen only: we do not store them and do not link them to an account.
Which check for which question
- “Is the VPN actually on?” — what is my IP: note the address, switch the VPN on, refresh the page;
- “Feels like the internet got slower” — the speed test: measure with the VPN on and off and compare;
- “Voices break up and the picture falls apart” — the ping test: it shows the jumps, not just the latency;
- “What does the internet know about me anyway?” — the privacy check: address, region, time zone, device fingerprint;
