Deleting your account
Two taps in your account area — you don't have to ask us. Below: what exactly disappears, what we are required to keep, and how long each takes.
How to delete
Through your account area — the main way, and it works both in the app and in a browser:
- Open your account area In the BrodVPN app — the "Account" tab. In a browser — brodvpn.com/cp/ (sign in with the link from your e-mail or via Telegram).
- Scroll down to "Deleting your account" It sits below the list of devices.
- Tap "Delete" and confirm The second tap is final. The subscription stops immediately.
What gets deleted
- Your e-mail address and account password.
- Your name and the Telegram link.
- Every connected device — unlinked immediately.
- Your profile on the VPN servers: the access keys stop working at that moment.
- Active and past subscriptions — they are switched off, nothing renews.
All of it happens the instant you confirm. There is no recycle bin: a deleted account cannot be restored, so coming back means signing up again.
What we are required to keep
Payment records — amount, date and payment method — are kept for five years: that is an accounting and tax requirement, not our choice. Those records hold no e-mail, no name, and certainly nothing about what you did through the VPN — only the fact of a payment and its number.
We hold no logs of visited sites at all — they don't exist before the deletion, let alone after it. Details are in our privacy policy.
About the money
Deleting the account does not refund the unused period: the subscription ends and the remainder is not recalculated. If the problem is connection quality or a mistake, write to support before deleting — that usually takes a few minutes to sort out.
Timing
- Immediately — VPN access stops, devices are unlinked, signing in is no longer possible.
- Within 30 days — the data rolls out of our backups (they overwrite in a cycle).
- Five years — only the accounting records of payments remain, without your contact details.
